Amy and Bill took the reins of Equidae in November 2022, Amy, a former qualified veterinary nurse who has made a career in the animal wellness space, continuing the legacy of an equine herbalist, nutritionist, and aromatherapist who originally developed these innovative formulas. With a deep love for horses and a commitment to their health, we have worked alongside a team of specialists to refine and enhance our products, ensuring they deliver even greater benefits to the equine community. Her background in veterinary nursing and animal health brings an additional layer of expertise to our mission of equine care.

We are always happy to help troubleshoot any issues you may be dealing with, drawing from our own experience and the vast range of challenges our amazing customers bring to us. Whether it’s nutrition, management, or general horse care, we’re here to support you.

And just like many horse owners, we have not been immune to the daily ups and downs of equine care. We live on a beautiful property in the Southern Highlands of NSW, where the lush pastures can often be too rich for our horses, leading to challenges like laminitis and all the trouble that brings. Through firsthand experience, we know the importance of balancing nutrition, exercise, and management to keep horses happy, healthy, and sound. Amy competes in eventing, and we have also navigated the complexities of conditions like kissing spines, gaining invaluable insight into proper muscle development and pain-free management.
